Club Fair Preview

With the club fair quickly approaching, here a few newer clubs offered at PHHS to check out.

Animal Impact Club

Animal Impact Club is ideal for students who are interested in bettering the health and well-being of animals. Their main goal is to educate others about their impacts on animals and the impact that animals can have on people.

“Throughout the year we hope to create informative media that will influence others into sharing the information we find and present to those around them, and hopefully inspire changes in their routines,” said club president Stanley Duong.

This club will meet in the English Office with Mrs. Turner every morning before school from 7:15 to 7:25 AM

National Social Studies Honor Society

Rho Kappa Honor Society is open to juniors and seniors who are interested in and have shown academic excellence in their social studies courses.

“Our club is devoted to students who wish to share their love of social studies with their community,” said club leader, Ms. Krause, “We work to promote civic awareness and we support local institutions. For example, we will be helping with voter registration in the spring.”

Meetings will be held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month in room 139 at 2:30 PM with Ms. Krause and Mrs. Evans.

Muslim Student Association

The Muslim Student Association plans on giving the entire Perry Hall community a safe place to unite with different cultures. Their goal is to clear up any stereotypes and/or any misconceptions that people might have about Islamic culture and religion.

“We encourage anyone and everyone to join us – the club is open to people of all culture and religions, and the more perspective we have, the better,” said club leader Ms. Alam.

Members of this club will meet on Wednesdays in room 106 after school.
