1. At number one we have the Philadelphia Eagles winning Super Bowl LII, also known as the “Philly Special”. This is number one because this was Philadelphia’s first Super Bowl win after making two other appearances. Their win with backup quarterback Nick Foles, after their starter, Carson Wentz, went down with a season ending ACL tear came against the New England Patriots. The final score was 41-33 lead by MVP Foles with 373 passing yards, three passing touchdowns, one receiving touchdown, and one interception.

2. At number two we have LeBron James signing with the Los Angeles Lakers. After LeBron James dragged his former team, the Cleveland Cavaliers to the NBA Finals for a third time, which they lost 3-0 to the Golden State Warriors, he felt like it was time to leave his hometown team. So, in the offseason 2018 offseason James signed a 4-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers $153 million-dollar contract. The Lakers record last year 35-47 which gave them the 11th seed in the western conference. As of January 2, 2019, they are the 7th seed in the Western Conference which makes them playoff contenders.

3. At third place we have “The Minneapolis Miracle”. In the divisional round of the 2018 playoffs the Minnesota Vikings were going against the New Orleans Saints. The Vikings were down 24-23 with 25 seconds left. The Vikings led by veteran quarterback, Case Keenum, began to drive down the field and on the last play of the game Keenum found Stefon Diggs open for the walk off game winning touchdown. They went on to play the future Superbowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship.
