You Might Have Senioritis…

1. You’re late almost every day.
Many students have this problem no matter what grade they are in. Maybe they don’t hear their alarm, or they don’t have a bus or can’t drive yet, but being late as a senior is a whole different thing. Half the time you do in fact wake up on time – you just don’t feel like going to school yet. You might take your time with a nice shower or stop by Chick-Fil-A or maybe grab some Dunkin.

2. Bumming it every day.
There are some people who dress to impress every single day. Then there are the people who wear sweatpants, hoodies, and t-shirts every day. And I’m definitely the latter. When you wake up at 6:00 am in the morning, you’re not really going to be in the mood to do your hair and makeup, or pick out a nice outfit.

3. Skipping class.
We’ve all done it … you’re halfway through the day and dreading going to your last class or two, so you decide to just walk out and go home. You get into your car and drive home to take the nap that was so worth missing all the work in your last period. This will become a habit that ends up happening more than once or twice a week, and you’re totally fine with it.

4. You wish you took a half day instead of a full day.
Taking a half day to attend CCBC, work, or just go home is one of the smartest decisions you can make as a senior. After second period you show your pass and get to walk out the front doors – you basically have the whole day to do something and not just be stuck inside the school for four more hours.

5. Fourth quarter doesn’t exist to you.
As soon as third quarter ends, all motivation is definitely gone. You rarely come to school at all during fourth quarter, maybe once or twice a week if you feel like it. You dread coming for AP exams and finals. As soon as you take your last test, you don’t even bother finishing out the final week … until it’s time for the senior picnic and graduation rehearsal, of course.
